Waterflow Photopolymer Platemaking
The Waterflow line comes in a range of compact plate making machines specially designed for the preparation of photopolymer plates.
The system is designed for plate makers on a low budget. Metal based plates do not require any transport system through the machine.
An optional auto-adhesive sheet carrier is available for polyester plates.

Key Advantages
- The Waterflow in-line plate processing system incorporates an in-line processor, an in-line dryer & post exposure
- Option: A two shelves exposure module which fits under the drying unit.
- Washout (in-line): The plate is washed out by 2 alternating brushes (model 660 & 920) or 1 oscillating brush (model 450). The plate surface is automatically rinsed by fresh water from a spray bar and the wiping is done by a high capacity sponge roller.
- Dryer (in-line): The plate is automatically transferred into the dryer unit and dried by hot air flow (4 kW heater resistance). The washout result may be checked through a glass “window”.
- Post exposure (in-line): After the plate has been dried, it moves into the post exposure unit fitted with UVA lamps.
- The copmplete cycle is computer controlled. An exhaust fan, to be used when processing plates with an unpleasant smell, is included in the unit.
